This is a test. #EFEC

#EFEC is the hashtag for Éducation Francophone Education Canada, which itself is short for Éducation francophone au Canada / Francophone Edu

cation in Canada. #EFEC

Whoops, even though that was short, it was still too long! Anyway, that's the name of both this topic and the website. #EFEC

EducationFrancophone.ca or FrancophoneEducation.ca will take you to the site. #EFEC

There's also a Facebook page called Éducation Francophone Education Canada! #EFEC

#EFEC is for everyone who's interested in minority francophone education in Canada. #EFEC

Here's some of the Twitterly fascinating stuff that makes #EFEC worth following:

Dreamed in French last night and it wasn't the usual nightmare because this time I made no miss takes. #EFEC

None that I was aware of, anyway. #EFEC

So woke up feeling strangely French this morning. Now craving croissants, beans in maple syrup and café au lait. Have day off work. #EFEC

Tried speaking French with the kids at breakfast. How do you say "Did I just say something funny?" in French? #EFEC

Went to school at noon to get Thomas. Don't like trying to speak French in public so went along hallway looking down at floor. #EFEC

Bumped into principal while walking in hallway. Literally. Yikes! Definitely NOT lol. Too bad Thomas and his classmates saw it. #EFEC

Took Tom to Tim Hortons on way home, bought him a donut on the condition that he not tell the family about my little misadventure. #EFEC

Didn't work, Tom told all when we got home anyway. My family doesn't understand why I don't want to speak French in the school. #EFEC

Neither do I. Just not comfortable, I guess. #EFEC

Helping with homework this pm. Or would if I knew what the assignment was! Asked Thomas and he just laughed. Did I say sth funny? #EFEC

Watched DVD in French with the kids B4 supper but didn't understand a thing. Ate all the popcorn instead. Why put myself through this? #EFEC

Oh yeah, for the kids. #EFEC

Will attend parent-teacher interview 2nite, preparing something to say in French. Like this: "Je ne parler pas francais." #EFEC

Remembering words and expressions that Antoine from hockey uses all the time, don't know what they all mean but might not be good… #EFEC

Funny how Antoine's expressions keep popping up every time I try to think of sth to say tonite. Not a good sign. #EFEC

Attended parent-teacher interview. Really should NOT have tried to speak French! Note to self: never listen to Antoine again! #EFEC

Going to bed early because of big headache (mal de tête, I know that one). Hope to dream in English tonight. #EFEC
